The Old Queen`s Head, Pond St, Sheffield
The oldest surviving domestic building in Sheffield. The use of the building as a pub only dates back to 1840 but the buildling itself was built in 1475. It is believed that the original building was a washouse. By 1800 it was being used as a residence and in 1840 was granted a licence to sell ale.
