Fishing Rods on Sale Water Park
Sale Water Park was created after the gravel was extracted from the gravel pit on this site next to the River Mersey. The gravel was used to build the motorway running to the south of the Sale Water Park. The white bridge in the distance is a new footbridge completed in 2006 when the M60 motorway was made wider. The red roof is the roof of the changing rooms for people using the water park.
