TF2757 : Railway Station (former), Tumby Woodside

taken 17 years ago, near to Tumby Woodside, Lincolnshire, England

Railway Station (former), Tumby Woodside
Railway Station (former), Tumby Woodside
The station was on the former GN network, south east of Lincoln, specifically
on the former route from Woodhall Junction to Firsby. The site was overgrown with trees and it could hardly be seen from the road, but now the sun shines on it once more. Looking eastwards towards the road.

The line operated for passengers from 1913 to 1970
