Great Shelford: a wide view from the new footbridge
The new footbridge at Shepreth Branch Junction provides some fresh, elevated, views of the railway south of Cambridge. A Sunday-afternoon Liverpool Street train is approaching the bridge. On the skyline, from left to right, are some of the new houses of the Great Kneighton development, Addenbrooke's Road Bridge, the Molecular Biology Laboratory, the woodland at Nine Wells and some of Addenbrooke's Hospital.
