Once the Las Vegas of the island, this road had four large amusement arcades and two bingo parlours. Now they are all gone (May 2007), the last one boarded up, the others pulled down and residential properties built. The shops selling buckets, spades etc to the holiday makers have also gone, along with John Lennon's shop (see Link
