The road to Traprain
The road out of Papple that heads towards Whittinghame. In the background Traprain Law dominates the view. It has been occupied/used from Neolithic times, through the Bronze age(when it was used for burials), Iron ages up through Roman to about 5th century AD. There are remains of an ancient fort on the top.
