SM8127 : Norma's seat at Llanhywel
near to Treglemais, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

Norma's seat at Llanhywel
The size and shape of the 'llan' (the enclosure in which the church stands) suggests that this was an early (or pre-) Christian site; also the hilltop setting.
The seat on which one can sit to enjoy the view is to the memory of Dorothy Norman [sic] Skemp (nee Pringle), 1915 to 2003, official shorthand writer to Parliament and founder of the charity "Listening Books", and to Anthony Nicholas Armstrong, 1916 to 2003, solicitor at law and officer of the Indian army.
In fact, the lady's name was Norma Skemp and an account of her productive life can be found here Link
