Llecha
Llecha
This cluster of old buildings appears to be the original farmstead, the modern one being behind the photographer. There are several substantial buildings here, some with an upper storey which might indicate that people rather than animals lived in them. The pointed window, seen far right, suggests there may have been a chapel too. Another building, to the right but out of the picture, is an abandoned farmhouse perhaps of later date.
Not far away there is the fallen capstone of a burial chamber; the farm is named after it, llech meaning slab.
