I took the Public Bridleway from Elford to Newhouses intending to pop into this grid square. But to my disappointment the field was full of rape. The GPS said I was 19m outside the square. To make matters worse the farmer had planted right up to the hedge line obliterating the bridleway. My cycle was yellow with the pollen. In the distance can be seen the two patches of woodland in this square, Fox Covert and Barber's Cover.
