Ackworth railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1879 by the Swinton & Knottingley Joint Railway, this station closed to passengers in 1951, and closed officially in 1959.
View north towards Moorthorpe and Knottingley. All that appears to remain is the base of the main building and the old goods shed. The platforms were mostly behind the camera position.
