February 2014 flood mark at Worcester
This floodmarker (top right) indicating the level of the high point on February 12 2014 was placed here on Monday of this week. It was placed here by the Watergate by Emily Draper, the first female apprentice stone mason at Worcester Cathedral. This flood was just inches below the flood of July 2007 which is indicated by the marker two to the left.
Notwithstanding all the technical babble, what an evocative picture of days at the cricket in Worcester, and a unique record of the effects of the 'Great Flood'! Good on ya Nige.
