Power generation beside the River Ouse
In the distance is Drax power station. Completed in 1986 it was the last coal-fired power station to be built in the UK. With a capacity of 4,000MW it is also the largest power station in the UK. Closer to the photographer are turbines of the Rusholme windfarm. Completed in 2006, it has 12 turbines with a total generating capacity of 24.6 MW
