Looking north towards the tumuli (Bronze Age round barrows) on the southern edge of the Ferny Knap inclosure. This forestry inclosure dates from the 1830s and contains a mixture of conifers and native hardwoods, including Douglas Fir, Scots Pine, Sweet Chestnut and Oak.
