NT2678 : Beach on the breakwater

taken 13 years ago, 3 km from Leith, Edinburgh, Great Britain

Beach on the breakwater.
Beach on the breakwater.
A very remote beach in Edinburgh. On the side of the East Breakwater, you need to either pass security in the docks or walk/paddle many kilometres up the coast to get here. As a result it's popular with wildlife, including here a large number of eider. View towards Fife, between Dalgety Bay and Burntisland.
