SO4972 : Forest path, Haye Park

taken 19 years ago, near to Overton, Shropshire, Great Britain

Forest path, Haye Park.
Forest path, Haye Park.
Part of Bringewood, the forest setting for Milton's Comus. Haye Park is on the dipslope of the chalk like ridge and was a deer park, reforested in the 1950s. Now that there is a mix of tree ages it's an attractive place, not like the gloomy young spruce plantation of 40 years ago.
