In 2003, the abandoned fishing boat, 'Brekaer', moored on the north bank of the River Tyne between Blaydon Bridge and Lemington Bridge still had its superstructure intact. This had gone by 2006

A photo on Flickr records that the River Tyne debris removal barge, Clearwater, retrieved the engine from the wreck on 19th May 2012.
There are some excellent photos by Steve Elwood on SkyscraperCity taken on 14 August 2014. However, its identification as the Scottish fishing boat, KAREN OBBEKAER BCK 134, is unlikely, as the photo shown of it in operation was taken in 2008.
