A wooden toll bridge over the Afon Mawddach. The bridge was built in 1879 by the Penmaenpool Bridge Company to replace a ferry crossing. The bridge keepers cottage (on the right)was added c1910. The bridge, cottage and the various ancillary structures, as well as the bridge rights were put up for sale in 2013, with a guide price of 195,000. The toll for a car at time was 60p.
