Pandy Station
Pandy station is on the western end of the Bala Lake Railway. Link
The rail along the lake used to be standard gauge, joining Wrexham with Dolgellau and the Cambrian Line. This was closed to passengers in 1965. It was reborn in 1971 as a narrow gauge railway, with much of its equipment being taken from the north Wales slate quarries which had turned to lorries rather than trains.
