Portmeirion
The Campanile. Can this really be North Wales? Also known as the Bell Tower, built by Clough Williams-Ellis in 1928 (Grade II listed, 1971). A bell tower was to be an integral part of his village creation 'it was imperative that I should open my performance with a dramatic gesture' he said. It housed an old chiming turret clock from a demolished London brewery.
