This lonely marker indicates the presence of a buried gas? pipeline routed across Mynydd Pen-cyrn. Although buried some years ago, vegetation changes mark out the line on the surface. The distant summits are those of Sugarloaf/Y Fal (on left) and Ysgyryd Fawr (centre).
