Large stack of thinned silver birch trees, Ramnor Inclosure, New Forest
These trunks are the result of thinning in an area of young silver birch to the west of this point. The area has many notices telling you not to climb on the timber stacks - the Hollands Wood campsite is nearby and the inclosure is used for recreation (cycling/walking families) as well as silviculture.
