taken 9 years ago, near to Lindfield, West Sussex, England

Hole 7, Haywards Heath Golf Club
Hole 7, Haywards Heath Golf Club
Located in the north western corner of the course adjacent to Wickham Wood. The tee is on the opposite side with the player needing to avoid a steep bank and hollow to get onto the green.

First opened in 1922 as a nine hole course which was soon extended to eighteen in 1924. The current layout was designed in 1946-48 when much of the course was given over to food production during World War Two. This section was, prior to landscaping, a field called High Grove according to Lindfield's 1845 tithe map.
