St Dogwells church gate and porch
St Dogwells, which is hardly even a hamlet, more a scattering of houses and farms, is named after the C6 St Dogfael who founded this church and the abbey at St Dogmaels near Cardigan.
The double-roofed church, tucked away down a yew-lined approach, is mediaeval, but rebuilt 1870s - locked, but key available nearby. It appears to lie right across the 'gridline' with the gate, dated 1870, in SM9627.
