The South Quay in Worcester
The river frontage on the banks of the Severn in Worcester. There are a number of differing buildings in this picture, from the left is the tower and spire of the demolished St Andrew's church (also known as Glover's Needle), former warehouses, part of which is now a restaurant, to the left of the streetlamp in the background Heart of Worcestershire College's (formerly Worcester College of Technology) 'Cathedral Building', the Bishop's Palace to the right of the lamp, and unmistakably, Worcester Cathedral.
Notwithstanding all the technical babble, what an evocative picture of days at the cricket in Worcester, and a unique record of the effects of the 'Great Flood'! Good on ya Nige.
