Cressbrook Mill
Cressbrook Mill
The original mill was built by Sir Richard Arkwright in 1785, but the main building (partly obscured by the other hillside) was erected in 1815 by Arkwright's agent, William Newton. The photograph is looking northwest from the hillside above the hamlet of Upperdale.
