Manor house and St Nicholas Church, Asthall
The manor house was first built around 1620, although altered in 1916. For some years in the early 20th century it was the home of the Mitford family, until they moved to Swinbrook House, designed by Lord Redesdale. His daughters,
Nancy, Jessica and Diana Mitford, loathed it: Diana mourned the loss of Asthall's library.
St Nicholas Church is originally Norman, with additional work in the 14th century and restoration in the 19th.
