Hardham Church interior, Adam and Eve
Hardham Church interior, Adam and Eve
The Hardham paintings are without doubt among the oldest remaining in England, and it is safe to say that they are the oldest complete series to be found in any church. The building dates between the years 1050 and 1100, the paintings probably date from soon after 1100.
