Church of St Mary the Virgin, Rotherhithe
Taken from the church yard. Church built in 1715, paid for by the seamen and watermen of the parish, to replace a crumbling mediaeval church. The Mayflower sailed from Rotherhithe in 1620, and the Master, Captain Jones, is buried in the churchyard.
