Viewed across Church Street. The Forest of Dean village church is in the Church of England Diocese of Gloucester. Designed by John Middleton for the Dowager Countess Dunraven of nearby Clearwell Castle, the church opened in 1866. Grade I listed (the highest category) in 1984 as a fine example of mid 19th century French Gothic style architecture.
