Daffs and library, Anlaby Park, Hull
The grounds of Anlaby Park Library have had an impressive display of daffodils this spring. The library building too, seen here, has benefited from external decoration - one of the improvements since it was taken over by the community after the council singled it out for closure.
TA0528 : Southern Drive, Hull The house where I grew up in the 1950s was in Southern Drive. At that time the street was lined with Lombardy poplars which created havoc with the pavements and drains.
