The view shows the line of the disused Bude canal as it passes over the stone bridge supporting the aqueduct over Tala Water, a tributary to the River Tamar.

The stonework of the supporting bridge appears to be sound unlike the stonework on the far side, or upstream side, of the bridge. SX3489 : Tala Water - Bude Canal aqueduct - stonework detail

There is an indication of a cattle crossing or ford crossing Tal Water from the track running down to the river from the five barred gate on the far left.
