SJ9694 : Moss on concrete

taken 9 years ago, near to Gee Cross, Tameside, England

Moss on concrete
Moss on concrete
One of several moss-covered concrete posts by the side of the former Godley Junction to Apethorn railway east of Green Lane SJ9694 : Former Godley Junction to Apethorn railway line. I'm not sure what their original purpose was. It has been suggested that the brackets could have carried troughing for cabling.
