River Tees
Approaching Troutbeck Foot. The river and its feeders are full of small trout. Much bird life also hereabouts. I saw Oystercatchers,Curlew,Greylag Geese, Goosanders,Lapwings, Golden Plover, Meadow Pipits, Skylarks and of course Red Grouse. I made my final crossing of the Tees here and amazingly still had dry feet.
