Entrance to Norwich Castle
Entrance to Norwich Castle
Norwich Castle is an eleventh-century castle, built on a twenty-one metre high raised mound at the end of a prominent ridge of land, and nowadays is the centrepiece of a museum. The walkway upwards from the main gates to the castle’s main entrance is in fact a bridge over a dry ditch.
