TF2677 : Green Lane
near to Goulceby, Lincolnshire, Great Britain

Green Lane
Straight enough to be Roman, but actually almost at right angles to the real Roman road which it crosses just after the trees on the horizon. Like many ancient Wolds lanes, Green Lane's course is set by the ridge it follows, in this case running very nearly straight for over 4km to Hemingby.
