Badminton Shires League U17 Final
The Shires League provides matches for youth teams, under 13, under 15, and under 17. Just under 40 counties are represented, some have two teams in some age groups. Each team plays in a mini-league of six counties, the top eight teams (selected with some play-offs) play in a final. Each team has four boys and four girls; matches are boys and girls singles and doubles, and mixed doubles. In the final each match is to 21 points, with a change of ends and a short pause after 11 points. Theunder 17 final in 2015 was played at Hertfordshire Sports Village.
