1866 by G E Street in Early English Geometric style. Squared coursed rubble with dressed window surrounds; plain tiled roofs. South tower, nave, aisles, south porch, apsidal chancel. String course at cill, gable parapets. South Elevation:- south porch with steep pitched roof and 2 centred arched opening to left, 3 paired lancet windows to right, 4 stage tower with pyramidal roof and angle buttresses between aisle and chancel, 2 light window in second stage, lancet in third stage, 2 recessed louvres in two centred arches with quatrefoils between heads in fourth stage; Chancel to right with buttresses between windows, lancet next to tower and 2 light plate traceried windows else- where. Interior:- Walls unplastered; 3 bay nave and aisles with chamfered pointed arches on free standing marble piers with foliage caps and clasped moulded bases; aisle windows with deep reveals and rear arches. Wide chancel arch on engaged marble colonnettes. Pseudo-crossing with stone rib vault and triple chamfered arches to tower on south and vestry on north; chancel with stone ribbed vault on marble colonnettes, rear arches to windows also on colonnettes, double sedilium with central column and arched heads, piscina on south wall. Fittings:- stone rail with marble top separating chancel from nave, supported by marble colonnettes and quatrefoil pierced panels. Open pulpit with marble colonnettes and rail on 4 dwart columns. Font with panelled arched sides on dwarf columns; pews and choir benches with wrought iron candleholders by G E Street. Reredos with crucifixion scene by Earp. Contemporary stained glass in west window by Morris & Co. B O E Berkshire p 148, V C H Vol iv page 177.
