New platform at Rugby station
New platform at Rugby station
The first day of operation (29 May 2007) of the new Platform 1 at Rugby station (the new booking hall behind the platform is still under construction), as seen from the original island platform. A second new platform will be added to the other side of the station layout later in the year as part of a large-scale redesign which will allow West Coast Main Line trains to pass through Rugby at high speed.
