Newsholme Dean: Packhorse Bridge & Clapper Bridge
Newsholme Dean: Packhorse Bridge & Clapper Bridge
A once popular picnic site for parents and children in the 1940's and 1950's, where children could paddle in the Dean Beck, and buy fizzy pop from the nearby farm, these two bridges show that this valley has been a routeway for hundreds of years.
