Bulrushes in the Olympic Park
On the west side of the River Lea, across from the main stadium, is a small area of more intimate gardens, including this small pond with bulrushes.
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

The park was built as part of the venue for the 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, and was further developed over a number of years after the games.

Three significant buildings used during the games can be found in the park, including the Olympic stadium, Aquatics Centre, and Velodrome, as well as The ArcelorMittal Orbit sculpture.

The River Lea also runs through the site.
