The tower of the Church of St Leonard the Less at Samlesbury, seen above the trees from the opposite bank of the River Ribble.

St Leonard's is a grade I listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 357996 LinkExternal link British Listed Buildings). Although the church dates predominantly from 1558 LinkExternal link the tower, which can be seen above the trees, was added 1899–1900.
