Thousands of people turned out to watch the royal family and friends arrive and depart the Church of St Mary Magdalene at Sandringham for the christening of Princess Charlotte. With people queuing overnight to get a good position I stood only a remote chance of seeing much by arriving 10 minutes before the royal party left the church at 5pm
