The Manor House and All Saints' Church, High Street, Braunston from the Grand Union Canal
The Grade II Listed House is 17th century remodelled early in the 19th century. The village history informs us that the manor was sold to Gregory Isham in 1554 and his will described the Manor House in Braunston where he stored wool for sale; the list of rooms in the house corresponds to the original parts of Tudor House in the High Street but without the timbered wing. The church also Grade II Listed is of medieval origin but rebuilt in 1849 by R.C. Hussey and restored 1874 by W. Butterfield.
