Lune West Bridge under construction
The south side of the river, looking north.
The last bridge beam module is being lifted into position to bridge the gap on the east side (visible at centre right), using the Gottwald AK680-3 mobile crane. The crane has been coupled to the stack of counterbalance weights (left of centre) to increase the reach and enable the load to be lifted over the river.
