Six-spot burnet moth (Zygaena filipendulae) on thistle
A common enough species, but to me there's always something exotic about those colours. Around this thistle clump on Pond Slade a number of burnets were active, with meadow browns and skippers for company.

Richmond Park is a National Nature Reserve.
