The Inner Ward of Dryslwyn Castle
The Inner Ward of Dryslwyn Castle
Dominating the foreground is the base of the round tower. The shot is taken from the gatehouse of the inner ward next to the tower.
The wing that extends over the edge of the hill to the rear left of shot is a chapel that was added later. It has tall arched windows.
To the right of this are several rooms including the great hall.
The tiny speck on the skyline in the centre of shot is Paxton's Tower SN5419 : Paxton's Tower
