The Grey Gurnard (Eutrigla gurnandus)
This is a common gurnard living on sandy sea beds but also found on mud in shell-filled grounds at depths of 60 to 150 feet. This species ranges from Iceland and Norway southwards to Morocco, throughout the Mediterranean and Black Sea. It is very common in the North Sea.
