The beautiful little bay small bay to the west of Iar Phoirt, looking towards the drumlinoid ridge that marks the end of Cuan Bhaile Conraoi (Kingstown Bay). A drumlinoid ridge is shaped like a drumlin, but instead of being formed by material accumulating beneath the ice-sheet, it is formed by erosion of the rock surface. In this area there are many drumlinoid features, and close inspection is required. The long fingers of the sea reflect the east-west strike of the various beds of rock and the faulted structures between them.
