A Clifton-bound tram crosses Queen's Road and starts the descent to Arkwright Street on the first morning of operation of the city's two new tram routes.

After several weeks of test running with no passengers carried, the new tram routes to Clifton and Toton Lane (Chilwell) finally opened to the public at 0600 hours on Tuesday 25th August 2015.
