Funnel cloud
Funnel cloud
Looking southeast as a slow moving thunderstorm catches the evening light as it passes over the Machars of Galloway. The funnel cloud developed from the base of the thundercloud over the space of a few minutes, lasted about five minutes and then gradually decayed and disappeared. Had the funnel extended all the way to the ground, it would have become a tornado.
